Dear Students,
Thank you for attending the Blackboard training sessions this week.
You should all have access to the Blackboard area for the workshop and you can find my presentation there in PDF format if you need it.
To access it...
Go towww.elearning.qmul.ac.ukand click on "Log in to Blackboard".
Login with your username (beginningjp09...orjp10...).
Click on the course title "Introduction to Blackboard - Joint Programme 2010 - 11".
Click on the folder "Blackboard information for students" and then on the link "Intro BB slides" for the presentation.
In the same folder there is also a link to the Blackboard Support site and a link to the Helpdesk.
If you want to practice submitting an assignment, use the Practice assignments 1, 2, 3 or 4.
For the student who attended the Thursday afternoon session (21 October 2010 at 13:30) I am sorry you were unable to see a live demonstration. I assure you that submitting an assignment to Blackboard is very straightforward. As promised, here are some further resources:
There is a very good demonstration on the following site. Under "Assessments & Assignments" click on "How to submit an assignment as an attachment". You will need to log in with your Blackboard username and password to gain access to it:
http://lisandbox.net/elearning/support/vle/student/.
If for some reason you cannot see the movie, then the following FAQ explains it also:
